Fray Jeans

Procedure to Fray Jeans

Procedure to Fray Jeans

Learning to how to fray jeans is a great way to save money and be fashionable at the same time. The technique for fraying jeans is simple, and you can learn the technique in a short time. However, if you have never frayed jeans before, you should probably use an old pair of jeans rather than a new pair.  After you have perfected the technique later on, you can try the procedure on new jeans.

Things you need to fray jeans:

  • Jeans
  • Needle
  • Nail filer
  • Scissors
  • Wire brush
  • Sandpaper
  • Measuring tape and tailors chalk
  1. Wash and iron your jeans.  Put your jeans on, and mark the area that you want to fray using a tailored chalk. Having your jeans on allows you to have a more accurate marking of the area you intend to fray.
  2. Place the jeans on a table or any flat surface.  Using a measuring tape as your guide, draw a straight line on the area you want your jeans frayed.
  3. Use a pair of scissors, and cut the hem off.  Cutting the hem off makes it easier to fray your jeans. After you have cut the hem off, take your scissors and cut at the straight line you placed earlier.
  4. Obtain your sewing needle. Take the needle and pull the strands at the edges of your jeans. Do not remove the strands completely. If you do not want to use a needle to fray your jeans, you can use other items such as a wired brush or nail filer. Rub the wired brush or nail filer on the jeans repeatedly until you have achieved the look you want.
  5. Rub sandpaper around the knees, pockets or any other areas you would like. This makes your frayed jeans look more interesting.
  6. Wash your jeans in cold water. Dry your jeans and look to see if this is the frayed effect you were hoping to achieve. If you are not pleased with the look, go ahead fray the jeans some more until you achieved the look you want.

If you like the look of your frayed jeans and you would like to jazz them up a little bit more, you can add holes or make slits on your jeans using your scissors or needle. Regardless to what you decide, your fray jeans will look great with the steps outlined added Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

Dyeing an Introduction

Textiles are usually coloured to make them attractive for aesthetic appeal. There are two ways of adding colour to a textile substrate printing and dyeing. Printing adds colour to the surface in discrete places, whereas dyeing completely covers the substrate with colour. Dyeing is the process of imparting colors to a textile material through a dye (colour). Dyes are obtained from flowers, nuts, berries and other forms of vegetables and plants as well as from animal and mineral sources. These are known as natural dyes. The other class of dyes is known as synthetic dyes. These are based on a particular type of chemical composition. Some of these dyes are Acid (Anionic) dyes, Basic (Cationic) dyes, Neutral- Premetalized dyes, sulfur dyes, vat dyes, reactive dyes, pigment dyes etc.

Color:  There are three terms generally used to describe and specify colour. These are hue, value and chroma.

Hue: Hue is a term used for color for example, pink, mauve, scarlet, beige, tan, etc are hues.

Value: Value is a term used to describe lightness, darkness, tone or shade of hues. A colour is termed light in value when it approaches white and dark in value when it has a deep colour or approaches black.

Chroma: Chroma is the term used to describe the depth of colour that is the dullness, brightness, saturation, intensity, vividness or purity of colour. A bright, intense colour is said to have high chroma.

Colour Mixing: The rainbow: Sunlight is generally accepted as the source of white light and it consists of the seven colours of rainbow. These are violet, blue, blue-green, green, yellow, orange and red.

Fundamental laws of colour mixing can, therefore, be classified into two types, namely:

  1. Additive colour mixing occurs when two or more lights mix together.
  2. Subtractive colour mixing occurs when colourants are mixed together.

Additive Colour Mixing:

Additive colour mixtures are always lighter than any of the individual components since each light adds luminous energy to the final mixture. Blue, green and red light waves when mixed will add together to produce white light. Red, blue and green are called the primary additive colours.

The president of Grupo Denim, Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal commented “Dyeing is the process of adding color to textile products like fibers, yarns, and fabrics. Dyeing is normally done in a special solution containing dyes and particular chemical material”.

Boyfriend Jeans Fashion

Boyfriend Jeans Fashion

Have you joined to the boyfriend jeans fashion?

Boyfriend jeans are a new type of jeans that were designed for those girls looking to create new styles with denim, but due to the type of fit, it might get a little more complicated to find the perfect pair of jeans for each body shape, but you do not have to worry as we will show you how today.

“Boyfriend jeans are taking too much importance really quickly for those denim lovers looking for new types of garments”, said Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

You have to pick the right pair of boyfriend jeans as not doing it might either overwhelm you or can swamp your body, so here are some advices you might want to follow so the pair you choose is the perfect one for your body:

  • If you are small, the best option for you would be the skinny boyfriend jeans, or you can also try with the tapered leg style, remember that the shortest we are, the less fabric we should wear over us, so these type of jeans will help you showing the silhouette of your legs, remember not to go for the cropped jeans as they can make you look shorter, which is what we are trying to avoid.
  • For tall ladies, almost all type of boyfriend jean shapes would look great on you, from baggy pairs to slimmer fits, but  I would go for the latter as they slung on the hips so nicely that when you combine them with a tight t-shirt you will look like a rock star.
  • If you love your curves and would like this part to outstand from the rest of your body, choose the slimmer fits, like the ones I recommend for petite ladies.
  • If you have a very slim figure, you will love the baggy boyfriend jeans.

“The advantage of the boyfriend jeans as well as any other type of jeans is that you can easily choose from a big variation of styles, colors and shades, as there are enough available for every person at the market”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal about this new fashion style.

Promoter in a Company

Who is a Promoter in a Company?

A promoter, although the term creates connotations of someone in the building and construction industry, is actually a generic term associated with the person who starts a business. In common parlance, this person is also referred to as the founder of the business.

The founder has various privileges and benefits associated with his status as the person who kick-started the operations. Apart from the obvious financial reward of having the majority of the equity stake in the business, the founder also has legal rights because he / she is typically an executive director in the business, and the promoter or his nominees also control majority of the board.

But let us step back for a moment and understand what the roles and duties of the promoter are, and also examine pre-incorporation contracts a little more closely.

Can the promoter be someone other than the founder of the business?

Although the term “Promoter” has not been defined in any law, it finds mention in a number of statutes for instance, the Substantial Acquisition of Shares Takeovers (SEBI) Regulation states that the promoter is:

(a) any person who is in control of the target company

(b) any person named as promoter in any offer document of the target company or any shareholding pattern filed by the target company with the stock exchanges pursuant to the listing agreement, whichever is later;

So the logical meaning of this is that although the promoter ordinarily means the person who started the company, in certain exceptional cases, it can even mean the person who is in control of the company even if he / she did not actually start the company.

“A promoter typically is responsible for raising capital, targetting initial leads and chasing initial business opportunities, entering into the initial contracts for the business formation and incorporating the company” added Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

Perfect jeans for men

perfect jeans for men

How should men pick the perfect pair of jeans?

Jeans used to be easier to buy for men, in the past, as they were very similar, but nowadays we see different styles available, which makes it harder for them to find the perfect pair, so today we will help you find those jeans that will match with you.

“The great part about jeans is that once you have found the perfect type, it would be easy to wear them, as denim is easy to combine with almost everything”, advised Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

Here are the steps you need to follow when you want to pick the perfect pair of jeans for you:

  1. Measure your body – The first step is to know your type of body, and you can achieve that by measuring your chest and belly, if your chest is wider, you have a shape like an inverted triangle, but if your stomach is wider, you can consider an oval shape, that will help you finding your perfect jeans easier.
  2. Find the perfect fit – There are many different fits available on stores, the boot cut fits are great for inverted triangle shapes, as that will help your figure balance top part of your body. The loose fits help for the oval figures. If you are thin, you can go for tight jeans, but if you are not sure of which one would be your perfect type of fit, choose the straight fit, this favors all type of bodies.
  3. Try them on – When you go on shopping, you will have to try several types of fits until you find the perfect ones.
  4. Ask for opinions – A second opinion will also help you find the perfect jeans, when going on shopping, ask someone else to join you, this way you will know from other person’s mouth how do you look on your jeans.

“Men prefer jeans as they are comfortable, easy to combine and can be worn at almost every occasions”, added Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal.
